  • No-Hit Shooting – 5500 block of Long Beach Boulevard - On March 30, 2024, at approximately 9:48 p.m., officers responded to the 5500 block of Long Beach Boulevard regarding a no-hit shooting and robbery. Upon arrival officers contacted a male adult victim with non-life-threatening injuries to the upper body. Long Beach Fire Department personnel responded and treated the victim at the scene for minor, non-life-threatening injuries. The preliminary investigation indicates that two male adult suspects approached the victim, struck him with a firearm and demanded his belongings, which escalated when one of the suspects discharged a firearm. The victim was not struck by gunfire. The suspects fled the scene prior officers’ arrival. No other injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
