Here’s a recap of incidents occurring last night:

  • No-Hit Shooting and Gun Recovery - On June 18, 2024, at approximately 11:37 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 300 block of E. 8th Street regarding a no-hit shooting. The preliminary information suggests a male adult suspect was in an alley when he engaged a male suspect, and after a brief verbal confrontation, fired shots at the victim, missing him. The victim fled the scene, but as officers arrived, they observed the suspect throw a firearm near the alley. The suspect, who was found to be a prohibited possessor, was arrested and the firearm was recovered. The investigation is ongoing.
