Officers investigate a hit shooting: On June 10, 2023 at approximately 7:49 p.m., officers were dispatched to a local hospital regarding a male adult victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body. The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was in the area of Market Street and Long Beach Boulevard when an unknown suspect(s) discharged a firearm at him. Officers searched the area and located evidence, including casings, indicating a shooting had occurred. The victim was uncooperative with the investigation. Detectives were notifed and responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
