Officers investigate a fatal traffic collision: On Jan. 21, 2024, at approximately 6: 22 p.m., officers responded to Studebaker Road and Loynes Drive regarding a single vehicle traffic collision which resulted in the death of the driver and passenger. The investigation is ongoing. The news release can be found here.

- Officers investigate burglary with SWAT resources: On January 22, 2024 at approximately 6:26 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Santa Fe Avenue for a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, officers contacted the victims who advised them that a male adult suspect broke the windows of their residence and made entry while the victims were inside. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victims before fleeing to a vacant unit and barricading himself inside. SWAT resources have been activated and are on scene. A perimeter has been established. The investigation is ongoing.
