Stabbing - 6700 block of Paramount Boulevard - On Jan. 20, 2024 at approximately 1:29 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 6700 block of Paramount Boulevard regarding a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers contacted a male adult victim suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds to the upper body. Officers rendered medical aid until being relieved by Long Beach Fire Department personnel, who transported the victim to a local hospital for his injuries. The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was in the 2500 block of 67th Street when he was approached by an unknown male adult suspect and was suddenly stabbed. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. At this time, no suspect information is available, and no other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
