Here’s a recap of incidents occurring last night:

  • Stabbing – East 7th Street and Orange Avenue - Today at approximately 1:36 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of East 7th Street and Orange Avenue regarding an assist fire call. Upon arrival, officers contacted one uninjured male victim (#1) and a second male adult victim (#2), with non-life-threatening stab wounds to the upper body. Fire Department responded to the scene and transported Victim #2 to a local hospital for his injuries. The preliminary investigation suggests the two victims were sitting on a bus stop when they were approached by an unknown vehicle. An unknown number of male adult suspects exited the vehicle and engaged in a verbal altercation with the victims. Victim #1 ran away during the altercation and did not sustain any injuries. Victim #2 was chased by an unknown number of suspects and was subsequently stabbed by the suspects. All the suspects fled in their vehicle prior to officers’ arrival. No additional suspect information nor motive is known at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
