No-Hit Shooting - 400 block of West Pacific Coast Highway - On Feb. 12, 2024, at approximately 5:59 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of West Pacific Coast Highway regarding a shots call. The preliminary investigation indicates a verbal altercation occurred between two male adult subjects, which escalated when both suspects revealed firearms and exchanged gunfire, missing one another. No injuries were reported. The suspects fled before police arrived. The investigation is ongoing.
