Officers investigate a no-hit shooting – Today at approximately 4:49 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Broadway and Alamitos Avenue regarding a no-hit shooting. Upon arrival, officers contacted an uninjured male adult victim who stated he was driving his vehicle in the 1100 block of E Broadway, when he heard presumed gunfire and immediately observed his vehicle had been truck by gunfire. The victim continued to drive until he got to safety and called police. Officers responded to the 1100 block of E Broadway and found evidence a shooting occurred, including bullet casings. No injuries were reported, the motive and suspect information is unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
