Officers Arrest Suspect Wanted for Making Criminal Threats with a Firearm - On April 18, 2023 at approximately 5:07 p.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of Orange Avenue regarding a person with a gun call. Upon arrival, officers contacted a male adult victim who stated he was in a verbal dispute with a female adult suspect when she threatened him with a firearm. The suspect later fled in a vehicle prior to officers’ arrival. A short while later, patrol officers located a vehicle matching the description given by the victim, and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The vehicle’s driver was identified as the suspect and she was subsequently detained. During their search, officers recovered a firearm, and the suspect was transported to Long Beach City jail for booking. The suspect was identified as Elexis Ceville Williams, a 37-year-old resident of Long Beach who was booked on one count of felony Criminal Threats. Bail was set at $50,000.
