The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with robberies that occurred at two Long Beach businesses.
The first incident occurred on November 1, 2016, at approx. 9:40 a.m., to a business located in the 2100 block of South Street.
The second incident occurred on June 15, 2017, at approx. 7:15 a.m., to a business located in the 4300 block of E. Anaheim Street (see video).
In both incidents, the suspect entered the fast food restaurants and ordered a meal. During the transactions, the suspect pointed a handgun at the cashier, and demanded money before fleeing the area on foot with undisclosed amounts of currency. The cashiers were not injured during the robberies.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 25-40 years-old, approx. 6’0” tall with a heavy build and a goatee.
