April 25, 2014 Update:
Mr. Frank Kuborek, who was reported missing yesterday, April 24, 2014, was located at a hospital in the 4800 block of W. Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles and is now safe.

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an elderly man who suffers from dementia and walked away from his home located in the 700 block of Alamitos Avenue.

The victim was last seen at his home on Thursday, April 24th, 2014, at approximately 4:00 p.m., and was reported missing later in the day. The victim is known to frequent the area around downtown Long Beach and is usually seen wearing a band-aid across his nose.

The Victim is described as follows:

Race: WHITE
Hair/Eyes: GREY/BLUE
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 150
Clothing: RED BASEBALL HAT WITH "A," BLACK
JACKET, YELLOW SHIRT AND PANTS

The Long Beach Police Department continues to search for the victim. Local hospitals have been alerted and area law enforcement and public transportation agencies have also been notified.
