  • Officers Arrest a Prohibted Possessor - On May 27, 2022 at approximately 2:35 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Pine Avenue regarding a shots call. Upon arrival, officers contacted three adult subjects which matched the description given by the calling party. The calling party stated they observed the subjects engaging in a verbal dispute, which ultimately resulted in one of the subjects discharging a firearm towards an unknown direction. During their preliminary investigation, officers located a bag containing a firearm, belonging to one of the subjects. It was determined that the firearm belonged to a female adult subject, which resulted in officers arresting her and transporting her to Long Beach City jail for booking. The suspect was identified as Tiffany Constance Oldham, a 39-year-old resident of Long Beach who was booked on one count of a prohibited possessor in possession of a firearm, one count of a prohibited possessor owning a firearm and one count carrying a loaded firearm. Booking was set at $35,000.
  • Officers Investigate a No-Hit Shooting - On May 26, 2022 at approximately 6:01 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 E. Willow Street regarding a shots call. Upon arrival, Officers located evidence at the scene, including bullet casings, indicating a shooting occurred. Preliminary investigation suggests a male adult victim was in a verbal altercation with a male adult suspect, which resulted in both parties walking away from each other and entering their respective vehicles. As the victim was driving way, the suspect exited his vehicle and discharged a firearm in the victim’s direction. No injuries were reported. Both the victim and suspect fled in unknown directions before officers arrived. No suspect nor victim information is available and the investigation is ongoing.
