Incentive Pay
- Education Pay: Up to $3.458 per hour
- Advanced POST Pay: $5.320 per hour
- Wellness Pay: Amount varies based on participation
- Longevity Pay: 10 years - $2.793 per hour; 15 years - $2.647 per hour; 20 years - $5.855 per hour. (Other agency experience considered)
- Marksmanship Pay: Up to $32.00 per month (one-time annual payment in December)
** If an eligible officer is assigned by the department to perform the applicable duties, the officer’s hourly rate will be increased by the amount indicated.**
Skill pays
- Patrol Premium Pay: $1.596 per hour (while assigned to Patrol Bureau)
- Bilingual Pay: $1.20 per hour
- Helicopter Pilot Pay: $4.575 per hour
- Helicopter Observer Pay: $2.186 per hour
- Motor Officer Pay: $2.782 per hour
- Detective Pay: $2.389 per hour
- Detective 2 Pay: $6.650 per hour (while assigned to Homicide)
- Canine Pay: $2.782 per hour
- Port Security Pay: $2.782 per hour
- Dive Team Pay: $3.192 per hour (while training or activated)
- S.W.A.T. Pay: $5.32 per hour (while training or activated)
- Field Training Officer Pay: $5.32 per hour (while training)
- One-Officer Car Pay: $5.042 per hour (for hours worked as a single-officer patrol unit between 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)
- Watch 1: 9.5 hours at this rate
- Watch 2: 1 hour at this rate
- Watch 3: 8.5 hours at this rate

This Classification qualifies for recruitment incentives of up to $54,000.
