Danielle Quinones

East Patrol Division Commander

Commander Quinones began her career with the Long Beach Police Department as a police officer in 2006. She promoted to sergeant in 2020, to lieutenant in 2022, and to commander in 2026.

Commander Quinones has worked an array of assignments throughout her time with the LBPD, including serving as a watch commander, Department Operations Center Sergeant, Crowd Management Team Sergeant, assisting with Incident Management Team operations, Recruit Training Officer, and Arrest and Control Techniques Instructor. Commander Quinones was most recently assigned to the Office of Constitutional Policing Division as a Lieutenant, where she oversaw a team of nine to ensure compliance with legal mandates and best practices to inform departmental recommendations.

Commander Quinones holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina, where she played Division I softball. She is the recipient of two Long Beach Police Department Unit Citations. Additionally, she was the Baker to Vegas Captain in 2017 and completed the Police Unity Tour from New Jersey to Washington DC in May of the same year. She is currently a member of the Long Beach Police Command Officers’ Association.
