Mobile Recess Program

The free Mobile Recess Program will bring trucks loaded with supplies and equipment to designated neighborhood streets and provide free recreational activities for youth ages 5 through 14 (Grades K-8).

Those interested in participating may register in person at any of the participating Mobile Recess locations, Monday through Friday, during program hours. Registration will remain open until the program reaches capacity. Space is limited and all sign-ups are available on a first-come, first-served basis.


The Mobile Recess Program will be held at the following locations this Fall from 
September 5 – December 22
Visit one of our Mobile Recess locations to register:

Monday and Thursday

  • Grace Park, 361 E. Plymouth Street, , 2p.m. - 4:30p.m.

Tuesday and Friday

  • Rose Park, corner of Orizaba Avenue and 8th Street, 3p.m. – 5:30p.m.

Wednesday (NEW LOCATION)

  • Hudson Park, 2335 Webster Avenue, 3p.m. – 5:30p.m.
