Mobile Recess Program

The free Mobile Recess Program will bring trucks loaded with supplies and equipment to designated neighborhood streets and provide free recreational activities for youth ages 5 through 14 (Grades K-8).

Those interested in participating may register in person at any of the participating Mobile Recess locations, Monday through Friday, during program hours. Registration will remain open until the program reaches capacity. Space is limited and all sign-ups are available on a first-come, first-served basis.


The Mobile Recess Program will be held at the following locations on weekdays from 
March 11- June 14.

Monday, 3 - 5:30 p.m. @ Hudson Park, 2335 Webster Ave.
Tuesdays, 2 - 4:30 p.m. @ Sparks at Midtown, 1900 Long Beach Blvd.
Wednesdays, 3 - 5:30 p.m. @ Hudson Park, 2335 Webster Ave.
Thursdays, 2:30- 5 p.m. @ Rose Park, corner of 8th St. & Orizaba Ave.
Fridays, 2 - 4:30 p.m. @ Jackson Park, 1432 E Jackson St.

Monday, 10 a.m.- noon @ Coolidge Park, 352 Neece St.
Monday, 1:30- 3:30 p.m. @ Grace Park, 361 E. Plymouth St.
