With 24 parks containing basketball courts you are always close to the action. If you are looking for hardwood courts and professionally officiated games look no further. An open league caters to more seasoned players with no restrictions on height and there is also a 6-foot and under league. Contact the sports office to get your team started!
The City of Long Beach is truly the golf capital of Southern California. Within the City, five public courses can suit the taste of any golfer regardless of ability. All golf facilities are operated with pride by the American Golf Corporation. Golf programs are also available.
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine makes it easy to get a great workout and have fun with 69 tennis courts located throughout the city. Tennis classes including Beginning, Advanced Beginning, Low Intermediate, Intermediate, Advanced and even opportunities for play only where we guarantee a partner for singles or doubles.

Long Beach Volleyball offers a number of levels of play for men's, women's and coed teams. Matches are one night per week. A match consists of three games to 25 points each.
Register by team only at the Sports Office, 9-15 players. Ten games plus playoffs. Games played Sundays at local schools and parks. Team fee: $325 per team. Resident rate of $250 if nine player proofs provided at registration. Call (562) 570-1736 to register a team or to sign up as an individual.
