RLC summer day camps allow children to have fun, try new things, and be inspired by nature and history. Activities subject to change; Covid restrictions may apply.

Camp Fees: $150/week for members; $175/week for non-members.

TIME-TRAVELERS CAMP
Campers experience various time periods through games, technology, cooking, and art. Activities include creating an original comic book, churning butter, and learning roping skills. For children ages 6-10.

July 18-22, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

NATURE CAMP
Campers explore their environment, make art from nature, identify plants and insects, build with natural materials like adobe, and learn about the Rancho gardens. For children ages 6-10. 

July 25-29, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

VAQUERO CAMP
Campers are immersed in the culture of Alta California. Activities include making tortillas, creating cascarones, swinging a reata, and learning folklórico dance steps. For children ages 6-10.

August 1-5, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

UNPLUGGED CAMP
Participants learn about science, technology, engineering, art and math--nineteenth-century style! Activities include Victorian lawn games, adobe engineering, and a themed escape room. For pre-teens ages 11-13.

August 8-12, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
