After School Programs
Monday-Friday, August 24, 2026 - June 11, 2027
What is your child doing after school? Our After School Programs take place at parks across the city where youth can enjoy activities such as games, arts, tournaments, cooking, homework assistance, movies and seasonal celebrations.
After School Programs offered by our Long Beach Parks are non-custodial programs for children 5 to 12 years of age. Participants may come and go at their own discretion. Staff will be onsite to provide a variety of activities in a welcoming environment.
Pre-registration is required and begins Monday, August 10, at 9 a.m.
Pre-registration is available online at LB RecConnect. Residents should click “Activities” and search “After School” to register. People in need of registration assistance may contact their local participating park for support.
