ART AND CULTURAL
CERAMICS WORKSHOP
Learn basic ceramics techniques: coiling, slabbing, wheel, glazing, mold making and sculpture. All skill levels welcome. We fire to cone 6. Bring notepad, pencil and material fee to first class. Additional

ADVANCED CERAMICS WORKSHOP
In this advanced course we fire to cone 6. Experiment with materials and techniques that do not get covered in the basic ceramics workshop. Feel free to do self-directed projects with guidance during this class. Additional supplies will be available for students who have developed technical sufficiency and want to explore deeper into ceramic processes. Bring samples of work, notepad, pencil, your clay and tools and material fee to first class meeting. Ages: 16 years old and up. Studio fee: $35.

COOKING
BASIC COOKING FOR TEENS
Students will receive hands-on training in a lecture and kitchen lab environment. They will learn culinary terms, cooking techniques, kitchen and food safety, kitchen math, and basic nutrition. Topics include sautéing, simmering, stir-frying, and more. No prior experience required. Ages: 13-19 years old. Class fee: $130. Class materials fee: $60.

FOREST BATHING (SHINRIN-YOKU)
This class, led by a certified Forest Therapy Guide, offers a guided sensory experience in El Dorado Park, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing). Participants will engage in slow, mindful walks with carefully crafted invitations to connect with nature through their senses. This immersive experience aims to reduce stress, improve well-being, and deepen connections with oneself, others, and the natural world. The class concludes with a shared tea and snacks. Ages: 12 years old and up. Class fee: $20. Material fee of $5 per class. Please arrive 10 minutes before class to park and settle in before the walk. Vehicle entrance fee waived with proof of class registration.
