No Pets Allowed. Service Dogs Are Welcome! 
Per the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), the City of Long Beach welcomes ADA-qualified service animals that are individually trained to do specific work or perform specific tasks for a person with a disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support are not qualified as service animals under the ADA.
Per California Penal Code 365.7(a), service animal fraud is a crime.
