Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yoku)

This class, led by a certified Forest Therapy Guide, offers a guided sensory experience, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing). Participants will engage in slow, mindful walks with carefully crafted invitations to connect with nature through their senses. This immersive experience aims to reduce stress, improve well-being, and deepen connections with oneself, others, and the natural world. The class concludes with a shared tea and snacks. Please bring a blanket or towel to sit on. Material fee of $5 per class. Please arrive 10 minutes before class to park and settle in before the walk. Vehicle entrance fee waived with proof of class registration. Ages: 12 and up. Class held at El Dorado East Regional Park meets at Horseshoe Lake. Class fee: $20.
