Earth Day Coastal Cleanup 2024

With approximately 7 miles of public beach and the many species of plants and wildlife that depend on this habitat, it's important to keep our local marine environment clean and healthy. Help protect our coastline and join us for a cleanup! Let's try to reduce our footprint by bringing your own bucket or bag.

Date & Time:
Saturday, April 20
, 10 a.m. - noon.  Meet on the sand, east of the Belmont Pier. Rain cancels.

Location:
Belmont Pier
(lot at end of Termino Ave and Ocean)

Participation is easy!  All you need to do is show up at any site and sign in.  We will provide all of the bags and gloves, or you can bring an old bag, bucket, and gloves.

This event provides us with a great opportunity to bring together the local community for a common cause and increase awareness about issues related to marine debris and the health of our coastline.  The first 100 volunteers will receive a free shaved ice from Kona Ice courtesy of the Long Beach Container Terminal.

Start your morning off right and meet us at the beach.
