Located near the Colorado Lagoon and the end of Marine Stadium, this small park is beautifully landscaped and has several shade trees.
History
This area was part of the original 1923 purchase of Marine Stadium. After the filling in of the west end of the Stadium for the cross-town freeway and reconfiguration of the Marine Stadium entrance in 1968, this parcel was left out. With the initiative of the Rogers Middle School community, the area was made into a passive mini-park in 1978.
