Information

Loma Vista Park is a small passive park that provides open space to the local neighborhood.

History

The .14-acre Loma Vista Park opened on September 24, 2005 on land provided by the Los Angeles County Sanitation District for a mini-park. The park was designed as a passive recreation area with a lawn area, trees and a custom bench with artistic elements. In 2007 the Arts Council of Long Beach added a mosaic of the sun and solar system designed by Artist Steve Elicker and nearby Edison Elementary School students. The new play equipment will be an added enhancement to the park for youth and families. In 2014 a new play structure will be added with a rubberized tot lot surface.
