Area Attractions

Golden Shore RV Park is located near dozens of exciting restaurants, shopping areas, theaters and attractions. Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, five municipal golf courses, the Catalina Landing and local airports are within a 30-minute drive.

Transportation

Free Long Beach Transit Runabout Service is available right outside the park to take you to the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, Shoreline Village, Pine Avenue or the Queen Mary.

Directions

The Park is located at 101 Golden Shore. From the 710 Freeway south, exit at Golden Shore in the downtown area. Go right (south) on Golden Shore approximately 50 feet to park entrance.

History

Immediately north of the Golden Shore Marine Biological Reserve, this site was also mitigation for the development of the Aquarium of the Pacific and Rainbow Harbor in Shoreline Park. The site was developed from part of the launch ramp parking lot and excess land surrounding a storm drain pump station, and was prior to the launch ramp part of Palm Beach Park. Improvements include slabs and pump-out stations for recreational vehicles, an administrative office and a swimming pool of RV tenants. The park was opened in 1995 and is operated by a lessee.
