Free movie showings are made possible by sponsorship from the Port of Long Beach. The Be S.A.F.E. and Mobile Recess programs are made possible by the Long Beach Recovery Act, a plan to fund economic and public health initiatives for Long Beach residents, workers and businesses critically impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional information about the Long Beach Recovery Act is available at longbeach.gov/recovery.

These programs align with Goal 2 of the Race and Reconciliation Initiative in Long Beach to strengthen funding, capacity, resources, and visibility of local community-based violence prevention intervention summer programming and Goal 4 to increase access to park space and recreation programming to foster physical activity, community connections, and safe spaces for children and families to play.
