The Long Beach Marinas offer various services and amenities designed to support and enhance the customer experience. Some of these services are listed and summarized below:

Fuel Docks

Both the Alamitos Bay Marina and the Shoreline Marina offer staffed fuel dock operations, featuring gas and diesel pumps, other boating supplies, and some convenience store offerings – including sandwiches, beverages, snacks, ice, and bait . These fuel dock locations are both open seven days a week, 8 am to 5 pm.

 Public Pump Out StationPublic Pump-Out Stations

Public pump-out stations area available at various docks throughout the Long Beach Marinas. All of the pump-outs are offered free of charge and accessible 24-hours-a-day. Instructions are posted on each pump-out station.

These pump-out stations are intended for holding tanks only. Please do not use the equipment to pump gray-water or bilge water. No petroleum products may enter the sewer lines.

Slips

Slips in Long Beach Marinas accommodate recreational vessels ranging from 20 to 105 feet. All slips are rented on a month-to-month basis, and come with a private dock-box, water and power. Many of the recreational slips have on-dock pump-out stations nearby. Telephones may be installed for a nominal fee. Fee-based wireless internet services are also available throughout the marina. All recreational slip holders receive parking passes for their vehicles.

Slip availability varies by size and location. In some sizes, immediate slip availability exists, while in other cases waiting lists may apply. Boat owners interested in learning about current rates and availability are encouraged to call the marina office for specific information.

Designated boat owner parking is available for recreational slip holders, as are clean private showers and restrooms. Free use of City-provided dock carts is available throughout all marina locations.

Short Term Public Mooring

There are several locations within the Long Beach Marinas where boaters may moor their vessels for several hours free-of-charge to enjoy nearby shopping and dining. On the east side of Long Beach, at Alamitos Bay Marina, several public docks (with 2 hour free public mooring) are located just outside the Alamitos Bay Landing commercial center, where several restaurants are open daily. Near Downtown, at Rainbow Harbor Marina, several public docks (these with 3 hour free public mooring) are available for use both within and immediately outside the marina.

Overnight Guest Mooring

The Long Beach Marinas offers nearly 3,000 feet of year-round guest mooring (in Alamitos Bay Marina, Shoreline Marina, and Rainbow/Harbor Marina). Visiting boaters are encouraged to call the Marine Bureau office prior to leaving their home ports, to reserve guest moorings (particularly in the summer months). Reservations may be make up to 30 days in advance. Proof of liability insurance in required limits, as well as current vessel registration or documentation are required in advance of being issued a guest mooring. Please call the Marine Bureau office to make a guest mooring reservation or to learn about current rates and terms.
