Located on the north eastern side of Naples Island, Marine Park is locally known as Mother’s Beach, because its gentle waves, shallow swimming area and Lifeguard supervision during peak periods make it the perfect place for families with young children to enjoy a day at the beach. Because Mother’s Beach is located inside Alamitos Bay, just below Marine Stadium, the water is protected from the motion of the open ocean, providing consistently calm conditions for the designated swim areas.

Kids will also love the playground located at the northern end of the beach, which includes modern playground equipment to climb, crawl, swing, slide, and jump through. The water, beach, and playground are all steps apart, allowing parents to easily keep watch over their children as they run from one activity to the next.

The water and sand give way to a large grassy area that encircles the conveniently located parking lot. The grass is the perfect place for a family picnic or taking a break from the sun under the shady canopy of one of the many trees. Forgot to pack your picnic basket? No problem, you can visit Mom’s Beach House Café (open weekends) and enjoy a home-style breakfast or lunch. There is a pier in front of the café, so you can park your Duffy boat, kayak, or paddleboard and stop in for a quick bite.
