Soccer in the LBC
Soccer in the LBC is a series of free events, fan experiences and cultural celebrations across Long Beach during this summer’s global soccer tournament. Partnering with Major League Soccer’s LA Galaxy, the Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DTLBA), the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) and more, the City is offering a wide variety of unforgettable programming and locally driven activations in neighborhoods across the city throughout the tournament.
From the group stage beginning June 11 to the final match on July 19, the City’s community-focused programming will highlight small businesses, community organizations and cultural partners while ensuring the economic and cultural benefits of the activations are shared across the city. LA Galaxy Soccer Celebration (Group Stage: June 11-27)
The City is partnering with Major League Soccer's LA Galaxy and DTLB Alliance to host LA Galaxy Soccer Celebration, a series of free, exciting event and experiences in Downtown Long Beach for people of all ages. Events will take place along Pine Avenue between 3rd Street and Broadway, with larger activations to also include parts of Broadway and Lincoln Park. All events are free and open to the public. - LA Galaxy Season Ticket Members can redeem an exclusive Soccer Celebration patch designed by Cheyenne Ellis. Quantities are limited and patches will be distributed on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
YOUTH SOCCER CLINICS &
FIFA World Cup 26™ MATCH VIEWINGS EVENT SCHEDULE

Local Activations (Knockout Stages: June 28 to July 19)
The City will also host soccer activations and match viewings at local parks across the city during the knockout stage of the tournament. These events will offer residents chances to gather, connect and celebrate soccer in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. More information coming soon.
The City's extensive soccer programming will culminate on July 19 with an open streets event, providing residents opportunities to celebrate the tournament's final match while also promoting multimodal and sustainable transportation, supporting local businesses and fostering community connection. Hosted by the City and presented by Metro, this one-day event will open streets in multiple neighborhoods across Long Beach, transforming them into safe, open areas for people to bike, walk and explore.
