It will be this Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Scherer Park on corner of Del Amo and Atlantic.The Goodwill collection will take place from 9:00am to 12:00pm and the Free Paper Shredding will take place ONLY from 9:00am to 11:00am.

Councilmember Al Austin is once again partnering with local businesses to collect toys for local families during the holiday season.
Donations of new unwrapped toys may be dropped off in the collection boxes at participating businesses from now until December 12. The donated items will go to local families.

The CoolCalifornia City Challenge is a statewide competition engaging thousands of households in cities across California to save energy, reduce their carbon footprints and help build more vibrant and sustainable communities.
Long Beach is one of ten cities competing this year. Prize money will be awarded to the top three teams in the city.
