Global Green Market Street Assessment Draft 8/31/2016 Two years ago, community members in the neighborhoods near Market Street got together for a series of visioning sessions about the Market Street corridor between Atlantic Avenue and the Los Angeles River. Global Green then wrote this draft assessment, outlining some of the possibilities for enhancing the area.  Global Green's findings will help to inform future projects in the area.

The latest annual noise budget report required by the Airport Noise Compatibility Ordinance indicates that nine additional daily air carrier flights can be added under the allowable noise limits.

Third Annual Eighth District Toy Drive 12/2/2014

Councilmember Al Austin is once again partnering with local businesses to collect toys for local families during the holiday season.
