On Nov. 1, the drawn-out government shutdown enters an alarming new phase, with tens of thousands of Long Beach residents expected to lose their SNAP benefits — critical support that helps keep families fed and safe.

In this moment, our community is stepping up. We’ve gathered a comprehensive list of food resources available across Long Beach and the greater Los Angeles region — including local pantries, free meal programs, and emergency food distribution sites.

We want to extend our gratitude to Long Beach Forward for their hard work in compiling this list, and to the many community members and partners who contributed to ensure that no one in our city goes hungry.
