The Long Beach Public Library (LBPL) has been a member of the Federal Depository Library Program since 1933. We provide government information published by:
Government documents can be found in our LBPL catalog and are searchable by author, title, and keyword. Most of our historical collection is housed in our closed stacks storage area at the Billie Jean King Main Library. Some newer government documents are shelved with the Billie Jean King Main Library's nonfiction collection. Visit the Billie Jean King Main Library or ask a Reference Librarian for assistance.
The Federal government is dedicated to moving its publications to electronic format. As a result, many documents are available online.
