Join us at BJK Main Library and Lincoln Park on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 1:30–4:30 PM to celebrate African American Music Appreciation Month!

Experience a vibrant afternoon of music, conversation, and culture as we honor the powerful legacy of African American music.


Women in Jazz Panel Discussion

1:30–2:30 PM | The Miller Room @ Billie Jean King Main Library

Join moderator Greg Johnson of Hannibal Media Group for a dynamic discussion featuring:

African American Music Concert

2:30–4:30 PM | Lincoln Park

Enjoy a free live concert by the Tatiana Tate Band, opened by DJ Jasper! Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic. Relax to the sound of incredible live jazz in the park.
