Long Beach Public Library

 The Los Altos Neighborhood Library will be closed for facility maintenance beginning Thursday, June 15 and is anticipated to reopen on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. This closure is needed to prepare the facility for a scheduled HVAC replacement project.

Vida Latina Returns!

The 3rd annual Vida Latina celebration kicks off with a Selena Party at the Billie Jean King Main Library on Saturday, September 18th. Join us for a Selena puppet show and Selena-themed crafts. Of course, we’ll have music and pizza, too. The event runs from 2:00-4:00 PM and registration through Eventbrite is required.

Other events include Bibliodías, Lotería at the Library, Cuentos y Cantos, and a Día de los Muertos calaca workshop. Find all of our Vida Latina celebration event details in the English and Spanish brochures and on our website calendar.
