The Long Beach Public Library is thrilled to announce the anniversary celebration of The Studio Makerspace with a new exhibition, A 10-Year Retrospective of Art and Maker Innovation at the Billie Jean King Main Library. Launched in April of 2014, The Studio has become a vibrant hub of creativity and innovation, serving as a dynamic resource for artists and makers of all ages in the Long Beach community.

Located inside the esteemed Billie Jean King Main Library, The Studio provides free programs and classes for creators of all ages. From 3D printing and CAD design to traditional arts and music production, The Studio offers a community workspace where people can meet, socialize, innovate, and collaborate using a variety of state-of-the-art technology and resources.

To commemorate 10 years of service to the local arts community, community members are invited to attend an opening reception and art exhibition, followed by an open house. The new exhibit will take attendees on a journey through the evolution of art created at The Studio over the past decade, offering a firsthand experience of its transformative impact.
