Join the Long Beach Public Library in celebrating Read Across America! We're hosting a special program on Friday, March 7 at Los Altos Neighborhood Library called "Reading is the Cats Pajamas." The program will include:

5:15–5:35 PM - Special Pajama Storytime

5:35–6:35 PM - Crafts and a movie

5:45–6:45 PM - Meet and Greet with Pete the Cat

Participants will be have the chance read to Pete the Cat’s favorite PAW friends from BARK! BARK is an all-volunteer program that encourages children to improve their reading skills and self-confidence by reading aloud to certified therapy dogs.

Read in style with your coolest pajamas and bring your favorite book to share...because reading is truly the cat's meow!
