The Long Beach Public Library invites you to celebrate the arts and traditions of Native American and Indigenous peoples throughout November.

  • Join our online author talks featuring journalist Joseph Lee (Aquinnah Wampanoag) discussing his book Nothing More of This Land and novelist Amanda Peters (Mi’kmaq) talking about her novel The Berry Pickers.
  • Create and decorate corn husk dolls on Saturday, November 8 at 1 PM at the Brewitt Neighborhood Library.
  • Paint a vase inspired by Tongva motifs and culture on Saturday, November 22 at 2 PM at the Mark Twain Neighborhood Library.
