Just Added to the Digital Library: Gale Presents: Miss Humblebee’s Academy

Children use Miss Humblebee's because it is fun. Parents, caregivers, and teachers use it because it is research-based and aligned with education standards including Common Core and Head Start Early Learning, plus it is free of pop-ups, ads, and links to other websites.
Gale Presents: Miss Humblebee’s Academy is an award-winning, online pre-K curriculum, that is free through the LBPL Digital Library. Through Miss Humblebee’s, children ages 3-6 will build early literacy skills that will set them up for success in kindergarten and beyond.
This interactive, award-winning program prepares young learners for school with hundreds of lessons using videos, music, eBooks, and more. Kids have fun exploring art, music, physical fitness, language, reading, math, science, social studies, and social and emotional learning. Limiting screen time is built in with 40 percent of the material off-line and printable. Many resources and activities for STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics) are included.
Miss Humblebee’s is ideal for home daycare providers, homeschoolers, and preschools too, because Miss Humblebee's has guided lessons as well as stand-alone lessons, with assessments to track children’s progress while they enjoy getting ready for kindergarten.
Gale Presents: Miss Humblebee’s Academy can be found in the Digital Library and is free to use on any computer or mobile device inside or outside the libraries. A LBPL card is required. Don’t have a LBPL card? It is easy to get one.
