Learn a New Skill with LinkedIn Learning

We're showcasing LinkedIn Learning for the month of October! LinkedIn Learning offers high-quality courses and videos focusing on business, technology and computer programming and creative disciplines like design, music, website development, user experience, digital marketing and other high-demand fields of learning.
“Having LinkedIn Learning available for free through the Library puts an incredible resource into the hands of our residents,” said Mayor Robert Garcia. “We are grateful to the California State Library for helping us bring tools like this to our Digital Library.”
LinkedIn Learning has thousands of courses and hundreds of curated learning paths. Patrons can also search for courses by topic, field, course length, skills or software. Many courses also offer continuing education units or credits, so certifications can be kept up-to-date conveniently. It can be used to advance careers, start businesses, earn certifications, or just for fun. It is available for free for Library cardholders, 24/7, thanks to funding administered from the California State Library.
“One of the reasons we chose to offer LinkedIn Learning was because it has so many courses in languages other than English,” said Library Services Director Cathy De Leon. “There are thousands of courses in Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Portuguese and Chinese, as well as English. We greatly appreciate the support from the California State Library that makes it possible for the Library to offer this great resource to our patrons.”
LinkedIn Learning can be found in the Digital Library and is free to use on any computer or mobile device inside or outside the libraries.
