Long Beach Public Library

Beginning Monday, August 28, 2023, the Alamitos, Harte, and Michelle Obama Neighborhood Libraries will offer an additional day of service on Mondays.

As of Monday, August 14, the Bay Shore Neighborhood Library will temporarily close for a scheduled renovation. All services at Bay Shore, including book drops, will be unavailable.

Join us on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 11AM - 3PM for the Kwanzaa Experience at the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library! Learn all about Kwanzaa and the Seven Principles as you enjoy special performances, a drum circle, three Kwanzaa crafts, music, and festive food for the whole family. Free parking will be available in the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library parking lot.
