Halloween Parade for Kids & Pups
Join us for our 2024 Halloween Parade at 10:30 AM at the Billie Jean King Main Library! We'll gather in the Kid Space for a spooky storytime and then parade through the library trick-or-treating along the way. Dress up in your favorite costume, make crafts, participate in a pumpkin patch, and enjoy a spooky Halloween movie and games! This event is for children ages 0 to 12 and their families.
Later at 2:30 PM, the Library will also host a Tricks-for-Treats Pup Parade for the third year! Dress your dog in their Halloween's finest and join the parade out on the BJK Main Library terrace and Lincoln Park. This is a family-friendly, all-ages event.
There will be live sketching of contestants and all participants will receive a free digital copy of commemorative art by local artist, Kazz Morohashi. Dog trainer, Charlie DiBono from BAMK9, will also be offering some “tricks for treats" training and top dog will win a grand prize, donated by Bruce’s Empty Bowl!
