Long Beach Public Library

Beginning Monday, August 28, 2023, the Alamitos, Harte, and Michelle Obama Neighborhood Libraries will offer an additional day of service on Mondays.

As of Monday, August 14, the Bay Shore Neighborhood Library will temporarily close for a scheduled renovation. All services at Bay Shore, including book drops, will be unavailable.

Say Goodbye to these Digital Resources

After much consideration, the Long Beach Public Library has decided to stop offering World Book Online and TumbleBookLibrary in the Digital Library. June 24, 2023 is the last day patrons can use World Book Online. June 29, 2023 is the last day patrons can use TumbleBookLibrary. Not to worry! We still have other amazing children’s literature and learning resources, all free with a Long Beach Public Library card.
