Long Beach Public Library

Beginning Monday, August 28, 2023, the Alamitos, Harte, and Michelle Obama Neighborhood Libraries will offer an additional day of service on Mondays.

As of Monday, August 14, the Bay Shore Neighborhood Library will temporarily close for a scheduled renovation. All services at Bay Shore, including book drops, will be unavailable.

We have great resources in English and Spanish for students of all ages that are fun, interesting, educational, and free with a library card! Don't have a library card? Signing up for one is easy!

Use our online resources to watch movies, read a newspaper or magazine, take classes, research your family tree, learn a language, listen to books and articles, or get help with homework. You can also take practice tests, get help writing a resume, and find classroom materials for all grades.

This month's digital resource spotlights are Skillshare and MakeMake.
