5th Annual Celebration of Vida Latina
We're excited to announce the 5th annual celebration of Vida Latina, which returns Sept. 15 through Nov. 2, 2023. Vida Latina honors Latin American heritage through a series of captivating events at all library locations, and showcases the diverse, vibrant culture of Latin American communities.
This year's Vida Latina presents an exciting blend of activities for adults, teens and kids, including beloved classics like Lotería and Cuentos y Cantos Storytime, alongside innovative new additions like Amate Art, create your own Huipil garment, and the Mercadito Literario, a literary festival highlighting Latinx authors, vendors, performances and programming for the whole family. Mercadito Literario will take place on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 12 to 4 PM at the Billie Jean King Main Library (200 W. Broadway). View all the events on our event calendar.
