El Dorado Neighborhood Library
The El Dorado Neighborhood Library opened in September 1970 and was the final library in the city's decades-long goal "that no one within our city boundaries shall be more than one mile distant from a branch library." Designed by Long Beach architects Palmer W. Power and Thomas J. Morrison, the library’s style and composition were greatly influenced by its park environment. The library is 8,160 square feet.
