Proposed Amendment to Flight Slot Utilization Requirements

At the November 20 Long Beach City Council meeting, Long Beach Airport will recommend a resolution be adopted to amend the minimum flight slot utilization requirements at the airport. The proposed amendments to Resolution No. C-28465 would ensure operational efficiency at the airport and add certainty to flight schedules. These proposed amendments in no way affect the Airport Noise Compatibility Ordinance, the existing fine structure for curfew violations, or the number of permitted permanent air carrier flight slots.
