Long Beach Airport’s Festival of Flight Returns on Saturday, October 21, 2023!

Serving as a kickoff event for Long Beach Airport’s year-long celebration of its 100th anniversary, the 2023 Festival of Flight will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023. The event is the Airport’s largest community event of the year and is expected to attract more than 10,000 attendees. Stay tuned for updates!

The entrance is located at on the west end of the airfield off Cherry Ave. at 3590 East Wardlow Road, Long Beach, CA. 90807. Do not put “Long Beach Airport” into your maps, or you will end up on the wrong side of the airport.  
Attendees are advised to bring water and sunscreen, wear sensible shoes and be prepared to be outdoors, rain or shine. Coolers will not be allowed, and bags will be subject to search. Items listed on the TSA prohibited items list will not be allowed into the Festival. https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/whatcanibring/all 
Festival of Flight is a free community event; attendees do not need a ticket or registration.   
Attendees may bring food and beverages to the event. Alcohol will not be permitted. Coolers will not be allowed, and bags will be subject to search. A variety or food trucks will be available. 
Service animals will be permitted, but pets will not. Keep in mind that the pavement on the airfield may get too hot towalk a dog safely.
