Shoe Donation Drive

Bring Your Gently Used Shoes to the LB Marathon! 

Race participants and community members are invited to donate gently used shoes at the Race Expo or Finish Line Festival. The City’s LB Recycles team, in partnership with Waste Management (WM) and Motiv Sports, is coordinating this annual effort that redistributes collected items to residents with the support of local non-profits.

In addition to donated shoes, layers that are discarded by participants along the race route will be collected for donation.

This effort not only supports our neighbors in need but also promotes sustainability by reducing waste through reuse.

Donation Locations, Dates and Times:

Race Expo (Marina Green, 386 E Shoreline Drive)

October 3, 2025, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

October 4, 2025, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Finish Line Festival (Shoreline Drive and Linden Avenue)

October 5, 2025, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
