Covid-19 Updates

Release Date: 2020-03-18

Due to the current public health emergency related to COVID-19 some city services have been modified.
Environmental Services provides essential services to keep the city clean and safe.

  • Trash and Recycling services remain on regular service schedule.
  • The suspension of street sweeping parking citations has been extended through May 1, 2020. Street sweeping will continue in areas where the sweeper can effectively provide service, however no citations will be issued to violating vehicles. While citations will not be issued, the City encourages the community to move their vehicles during posted sweeping times. Street sweeping is a critical health service for the City, collecting thousands of tons of debris each year, therefore it is essential that vehicle owners make every effort to comply with parking restrictions.
  • All other parking enforcement, including enforcement for metered parking, time zones, and red, white and blue curbs, will continue as usual.
