On December 8th, City Council voted to amend the short-term rental ordinance to allow for non-primary residences to be registered. The amended ordinance also now allows for un-hosted stays. Registrations for primary residence short-term rentals (STRs) are currently being accepted.
Because the ordinance caps the amount of non-primary residences that can operate, initial registrations for non-primary residences will first be determined by a random drawing lottery. Details of that lottery are forthcoming.
For more details, please visit the STR Program webpage or view the latest Press Release.
